In 2013, Bizzi recognized an opportunity in the form of a decrepit hotel
located at 8701 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. The project came together
due to a precise combination of desirable factors: a picturesque oceanfront site
bordering a 35-acre park, only a short distance away from the top restaurants,
shops, and cultural destinations in Miami.
Bizzi bought the site and gained the right to demolish the hotel and replace it
with a modern, unconstrained development of 70 luxury units. To realize this
vision, they hired Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano.
Comprised of one to five bedroom units – plus two spacious penthouses – 87 Park offers a variety of airy, light-filled spaces in which to live, entertain, and retreat. Elevators open directly into each apartment for a sense of total privacy and convenience. Units boast the largest balconies in all of Miami Beach: occupying 40 to 50 percent of each apartment’s floor plate, they create a seamless indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
Located on the northern edge of Miami’s scenic North Shore Open Space Park, Eighty Seven Park forms a gateway from the bustle of the city to the serenity of the sea, offering breathtaking views of the ocean, park and Biscayne Bay. The famed Bal Harbour Shops – one of the country’s most prestigious luxury shopping centers – is located eight blocks to the north, and Miami’s legendary South Beach is just minutes away. From this ideal position, Eighty Seven Park affords access to the best of both urban Miami and the city’s striking natural landscape.
